Exhibition on the 100th anniversary of his death
To mark the 100th anniversary of his death, the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Technical State Museum is framing Gottlob Frege's scientific work in a joint exhibition with the institutions of the Hanseatic City of Wismar and bringing his early mathematical achievements into the present day.
The pioneering German mathematician, logician and philosopher is now regarded as one of the founders of modern logic and analytical philosophy. With his work, Frege revolutionized the presentation of logical arguments and laid the foundation for mathematical logic. The findings from his work are still used today in the development of computer technology and artificial intelligence. The special exhibition "FREGE - an immersive STEM experience" allows visitors to immerse themselves in the world of numbers and explore logic applications in playful environments.
