Regular photo walks in Warnemünde, Rostock and the surrounding area, for locals and vacationers alike, with ever-changing themes
Warnemünde is the most famous of Rostock's four seaside resorts. The former fishing village and "captain's quarter" Warnemünde has become a sought-after hotspot for beach vacationers, cruisers, water sports enthusiasts and thalassotherapy users. While strolling through the charming alleyways, it is worth taking a look into the windows of the lovingly maintained captain's houses or at the many statues scattered around. And Warnemünde has much more to offer, such as majestic cruise ships on the Warnow, the Warnemünde beach, the longest and widest sandy beach in Germany, and a beautiful harbor. The longest and widest sandy beach in the German Baltic Sea, the natural cliffs with coastal forest, the Rostock Heath and the proximity to Rostock itself with its old town.
It is not for nothing that the seaside resort attracts countless visitors at almost any time of year, who come to discover its surroundings. Of course, it's always a good idea to have a camera with you, even if it's just a smartphone with a good camera function.
However, the best camera is useless if you can't get past suitable places or aren't sure how to operate the camera. The solution to both problems is to take part in a photo walk with a specialist, who ideally also lives locally.
