Experiences, lessons learned and prospects for the future
In spring 2022, the country breathed a sigh of relief when most state coronavirus restrictions were lifted. However, the pandemic was far from over. "Long Covid" is probably the best-known keyword for persistently severe illnesses.
However, long Covid also exists in social terms. Studies point to a loss of trust in politics and democracy. A thorough reappraisal of this period of crisis therefore seems necessary, indeed indispensable.
We want to share experiences from the past years - especially in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern - and discuss what insights and lessons they hold for a better future:
What impact have the corona policy measures had on the economy, healthcare and our everyday lives?
Have the opinions and recommendations of expert committees been taken up and implemented in politics?
Have the media sufficiently fulfilled their information and education function?
Have the defenses of society as a whole been strengthened?
We cordially invite you to a discussion in which experts from politics, business, the media, the health sector and science would like to discuss these issues with you.
We look forward to your contributions, experiences and suggestions.
