Shushan Ghazaryan - Baroque to Modern
Playing the guitar has accompanied Shushan Ghazaryan since she was eleven years old and is her
her favorite means of expression and her greatest passion. Shushan received her first guitar
guitar lessons at the M. Mirzoian Music School in Yerevan. In addition to solo guitar, she also learned the oud and played in the Armenian national orchestra.
After being spoilt for choice between physics and music, the young musician decided to study guitar at the Rostock University of Music and Drama in the class of Prof. Dr. Thomas Offermann. She completed her Bachelor's and Master's degree there.
Shushan Ghazaryan is a passionate and experienced soloist, chamber musician and guitar teacher.

She has given master classes at music schools and colleges in various places in Armenia since 2019, and from 2018 to 2022 she was a musician with Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now e.V..
This important project has permanently changed her view of the power of music. She subsequently founded the "DoReMeet" project in Armenia together with Nora Shekyan.
Shushan is a member of the hmt Rostock guitar ensemble and the International Guitar Academy Berlin.
Academy Berlin. She has participated in numerous music productions and expanded her musical repertoire.
After her bachelor and master studies with Prof. Dr. Thomas Offermann, her musical journey continues. She currently performs both as a soloist and in various chamber music formations. She also teaches digital presence at the hmt Rostock and guitar at the Schwerin Conservatory.
At the end of the Müritz Guitar Festival from June 2 - 5, 2025, Shushan Ghazaryan will give a concert at the Haus des Gastes in Waren. He will perform selected compositions from baroque to modern.
