At the heart of the 15th edition of the "Baltic Winter" music festival is the International Master Class for Viola organized by the Brahmsgesellschaft Stralsund.
Prof. Erich Wolfgang Krüger from the Franz Liszt School of Music in Weimar has led the workshop more than ten times. This year, he will once again be providing expert support to participants from all over Germany and Europe during the week-long musical work, and in 2025 he will be joined for the second time by his successor at the conservatory, Prof. Florian Richter. Together with Ludmilla Kogan, who accompanies the young instrumentalists on the piano, the course participants are motivated to achieve musical excellence.
The highlight is the final concert on February 8 at 6 p.m. in the foyer of the Stralsund Theater - the skills will be presented in front of an audience. Prof. Krüger and Prof. Richter will lead through the program.
