Daughters remember their Mothers, Prisoners of the Ravensbrück Concentration Camp
The exhibition shows large-format portraits of 27 women from 13 countries. All of them were imprisoned in Ravensbrück. Almost all of the photographs date from the late 1940s and early 1950s and show the women in the context of a new, normal life after their imprisonment in a concentration camp. The portraits are commented on by the daughters, a son, grandchildren and friends of the women depicted. The texts can be read in the exhibition brochures in Czech, German, English, French, Italian, Polish and Russian and can be taken away by visitors.
