Any more questions? Then that's how it's decided. At the end of a club meeting at the tennis club, confidently moderated by the newly re-elected chairman, the only thing left to vote on before the buffet opens is the purchase of the new barbecue under item 7 'Other business'. The question of where the Turkish member's halal barbecue should be cooked sparked a discussion that completely disintegrated the tennis club. At first, the person concerned had no problem at all, but he did have a problem with the way it was handled. And very soon it's no longer about the sausage, but about meat eaters versus vegetarians, religious people versus atheists, do-gooders versus hardliners, feminists versus chauvinists, members versus board members - quite simply: about principle and survival, i.e. everyone versus everyone else.
