"The blue balloon" - musical journey around the world
The three virtuosos of the EXPROMPT ensemble invite you on a musical balloon journey through countries and continents in their program "The Blue Balloon".
They offer not only the melodies of their homeland, but also original arrangements of world music: gypsy swing, klezmer, polkas or film music.
All artists are professional musicians and graduates of state music universities.
EXPROMPT has performed several times at various chamber music festivals, such as the Reingau Kultursommer, the Hohenlohe Kultursommer, the Eltviller Burghofspiele and also played at the Brucknerhaus in Linz (Austria).
EXPROMPT impressively demonstrates the surprising possibilities that a traditional instrument (balalaika, domra and bayan) can offer when creativity, musical taste and the courage to explore new horizons are at work. Added to this is the ability of the three players to express feelings such as joie de vivre, sadness, love
