Jochen Schneider - drawings, Tobias Falberg and Hans-Peter Stark - photography, video, texts
The cloud formations over the narrow Fischland are striking and unique. They inspired the artists of the former artists' colony 125 years ago. These special, diverse sky formations form the starting point for the abstract works by illustrator Jochen Schneider, which were created to mark the 125th anniversary of Künstlerhaus Lukas in November 2016. Writer Tobias Falberg and painter Hans-Peter Stark explored the history of the artists' colony on site and examined the challenges and necessities that shaped the residencies both then and from today's perspective. They have documented their research in jointly created pictorial-textual works on paper and a video, which documents a writing matrix spray action.
