New interactive exhibition in the Granitzhaus - Information Center of the Southeast Rügen Biosphere Reserve
The new exhibition in the Granitzhaus is designed to be interactive, arouse curiosity and encourage reflection. Among other things, visitors can look forward to a "treasure chamber" with very special treasures from the region. There is also an animation on the post-glacial development of the region on a 3D model, which also vividly illustrates the settlement history of south-east Rügen and the development of the Baltic Sea.
The Granitzhaus is open at Easter, from April 13th, in May and October from 10:00 to 16:00 and from June to September from 10:00 to 17:00.
Admission to the exhibition is free.
You can reach the Granitzhaus on foot from the "Jagdschloss Granitz" or "Garftitz" stops on the Raging Roland, or by taking the Jagdschlossexpress from Binz.
From the parking lot on the country road between Serams and Binz, you can also set off on a 2-kilometre hike through the Granitz nature reserve to the Granitzhaus.
