The Alfred Mücke studio community is showing current works in the "Wintersturm" exhibition on Printmaking Day.
At the mill in Ahrenshoop, new approaches to depicting the never-ending variation of the sea on the Baltic coast are created from the planks shaped and eaten through by the sea. The wooden "pieces of the sea" become "seascapes" on paper. The works created in winter 2025 show light and landscape printed using conventional letterpress and the Japanese printing technique "Mokuhanga".
