Open studios and garden with painting, graphic arts, sculptures, ceramics and art on building by Bernadette Maria Roolf and Jan Witte-Kropius.
In the village of Neu Karin, located off the main roads between Rostock and Wismar, in the spacious round of barns and farms around a pond, the two artists Bernadette Maria Roolf and Jan Witte-Kropius have set up their studios in a former barn.
For KunstOffen on the Whitsun weekend, the familiar yellow umbrellas point the way to ceramics, sculptures, paintings and woodcut graphics in the quiet corner of Neu Karin. On Saturday and Sunday, the artist couple will open their studios and garden to interested visitors from 11 am - 6 pm.
Bernadette Maria Roolf and Jan Witte-Kropius graduated in the 80s from the College of Applied Arts Heiligendamm, she as a graduate designer - ceramics and he as a cityscape designer. Besides working in their specialties, both have developed and qualified in the field of visual arts, participated in national and international exhibitions, as well as realized art projects in public spaces.
