After two joint albums and many years of musical collaboration, the two Berlin-based and nationally and internationally active jazz musicians Esther Kaiser and Franz Bauer can finally be experienced as a duo once again. They will be playing pieces from their joint albums "Learning how to listen", "Songs of Courage" and from Kaiser's new album "Moving Times", which will be released in May 2025. The duo's stylistic spectrum ranges from bebop and the American Songbook to modern jazz and chanson, when pieces by Bertolt Brecht are given a new sonic guise. As a jazz vocalist, Esther Kaiser also likes to use unusual sounds and, in addition to her voice, also uses an Indian shrutibox, a synth and a loop station here and there, while Franz Bauer impresses with his virtuoso and sensitive playing on the vibraphone. A concert experience not to be missed.
