Karin Pockelwald, born in Rostock three years after the end of the war. I grew up in Bad Doberan and after 10 years I completed my secondary school education here. I then trained as a gardener and then completed a 3-year course at the engineering school for horticulture in Werder/Havel. The drawing pencil has been in my hand since my earliest youth, as painting is one of my oldest hobbies. Later I also took up basket weaving and soapstone work, but this was somewhat neglected during my working life.

I am now retired and to fill the time creatively, in addition to my other hobbies, I have specialized in the production of costume jewelry, especially from natural materials, which is transformed into jewelry by hand.
I offer avocado core jewelry, processed with amber and other semi-precious stones and pearls.
The individual processing makes each piece of jewelry unique and underlines the individuality of its wearer. At events such as sales exhibitions in the mill in Kröpelin or at arts and crafts markets, as well as on the internet marketplace ETSY, you can view my articles and of course also purchase them.
