Fairy tales by Wilhelm Hauff
Ever since there was a law in the fairy world that herbs only have magical powers if they have been picked by humans, the fairy Kräuterweis has had nothing but trouble. Not only does she now have to go to the market to stock up on herbs, but the quality used to be much better. And then she has to let cheeky little Jakob talk to her and laugh at her.
But she doesn't let that get to her. She lures the boy to her house to teach him a lesson. Jacob is transformed and has to serve the fairy as a cook for seven years. After that, he is free, but is mocked by everyone because of his shape.
Will the young Jacob find a way to be transformed back?
