"Beach finds have fascinated me since childhood. The variety, shapes and colors such as polished sea glass, driftwood worked by waves and sand, which has been thrown onto the beach by the sea and bleached white-gray by the sun or seaweed, which takes on the shape of coral.
I go to the beach with anticipation and am always surprised by the treasures that await me. The beach finds inspire me. I simply start working with them. This results in sculptures, collages and many other works of art. Also in combination with self-made elements or fossils that I find and incorporate. I try to express the happiness I feel when experiencing the most beautiful moments in nature in my work and want to share it with other people. Especially now, in this fast, noisy, peaceful world."
