Cozy meeting during the Advent season
On Saturday, December 7, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., a cozy Advent get-together will take place on Slüterplatz in Dömitz. Participants include the Dömitz volunteer fire department with delicious stew from the goulash cannon, the Dömitz Carnival Club with warm drinks, the cultural association Initiative LuK e.V. with the walnut tombola, as well as artisans and traders with Christmas goods. Classes from the Fritz Reuter Dömitz grammar school and children's daycare centers offer sweet treats.
The Christmas market is framed by great offers and a colourful program. There are pony rides, DEFA Christmas films are shown and a puppet theater makes a guest appearance. Participation is free of charge.
Santa Claus has also registered. This year, he will be happy to receive children's wish lists. Anyone who misses the white beard can drop their wish list in the Christmas post box on site. The employees of the town of Dömitz will send them to the Christmas post office in Himmelpfort.
The puppet theater and cinema are supported by the LuK e.V. initiative.
