Celebrate Library Day with us at the Malchow City Library! We invite young and old to visit us.
You think the library is a slightly dusty book lending station? Come and visit us! We are up-to-date in analog and digital form, we are a place of education and learning, a meeting place.
Our offer on this day:
- Onleihe very simply - we explain how you can use the Onleihe and how borrowing e-media works
- KUTI, a game table for all generations - get to know our KUTI and solve various puzzles
- Be creative - make small works of art from old books (4 - 6 p.m.)
- Malchow book meeting - reading pleasure in the fall (7 pm)
Every year since 1995, the "Day of Libraries" has been held throughout Germany on October 24. It was initiated by the then Federal President Richard von Weizsäcker.
Every year, the day draws attention to the more than 9,000 libraries in Germany and arouses curiosity about their extensive range of services. Since the introduction of the Day of Libraries, many libraries have held a variety of events to draw attention to the various services provided by libraries as indispensable cultural and educational institutions.
