Overhead Project & Deutsche Tanzkompanie / Supported by: TANZLAND - Federal Cultural Foundation
"Everything in motion" - that is the motto of the dance evening with which Overhead Project from Cologne and the Deutsche Tanzkompanie from Neustrelitz are presenting themselves together. Funding from the German Federal Cultural Foundation has made it possible for the very different dance companies to be presented in a three-part evening.
Excerpts from the current production "Blueprint" by Overhead Project, a pas de deux between dance and contemporary circus, and a new dance piece by the Deutsche Tanzkompanie with the working title "Wir schweben" will be shown.
The third part shows an encounter between the two companies, choreographed by Tim Behren (Overhead Project), which also deals artistically with aspects of being in motion and floating.
The evening is the highlight of the cooperation between the Stadttheater Herford and the Ernst-Barlach-Theater Güstrow as well as the two aforementioned companies as part of the "Tanzland" funding program.
