Songland Trio
With their new band Songland, Sarah Lipfert (voc), Christoph Reuter (p) and Stephan Bormann (git) can pursue their great passion together and write songs that transcend stylistic boundaries and incorporate influences from soul, pop, jazz and the singer-songwriter genre. Their lyrics are full of poetry, the songs are musical snapshots.
At the center of the music is the enchanting voice of Sarah Lipfert, which she skillfully stages in English and German. Together with Christoph Reuter, known for his boundless joy of playing and a good dose of humor, and the grooving guitar virtuoso Stephan Bormann, a unique symbiosis is created. The trio's concerts are a very special experience - they sparkle with original ideas, touch, inspire and delight. Thanks to Christoph and Stephan's many years of working together, having formed part of the Cristin Claas Trio for over 20 years, the two bring with them, among other things, their joy in arranging traditional folk and art songs, so that these will continue to be part of the program.
