The small writing workshop for young people aged between 14 and 18. The course is primarily intended as a source of inspiration and a school of perception. Because you can only write with all your senses. Whether stories, poems, (screenplays or theater texts) books, novels, reports...
Start of the season at the Vorpommern-Rügen Youth Art School and the STiC Theater. In addition to many established courses in theater, media, dance and painting, there are some new offers.
"WORDS OUT" is our small writing workshop. Young people are always coming up with great stories, but they don't know how to put them on paper? Do they want to write and invent their own worlds and characters, but still lack the brilliant idea or impetus? We support the young authors and provide them with a few "tools of the trade", challenge all their senses on short excursions and help them realize their ideas. Whether it's bringing characters to life, building suspense, finding the right expression, writing poetry - it's much easier when you can share your passion with others. In the end, their stories, texts and poems could be presented to the public in a staged reading, published in a small book and perhaps even submitted to various competitions.
The first taster course will take place on Wednesday, September 11 from 16:00 to 17:30. The group will then meet weekly on Wednesdays at 16:00 in the media laboratory of the youth art school.
