The digital library is open for you 24 hours a day - around the clock!
More than 90,000 digital media (e-books, magazines, audio books and films) are available for download in the ONLEIHE app. The streaming portal filmfriend gives you another huge digital film library to choose from. Whether you're using a tablet, smartphone or e-book reader, you can "start reading digitally" and watch good films with the various end devices and convenient apps without much effort. All you need is a valid library card. You will receive this when you register at the city library. The card costs 10 euros for one year; children, young people, young people in training, students, severely disabled people GB50 and recipients of citizen's benefit and ALG-I are exempt from the fee.
You can find out how easy it is to download, which e-book readers can be used for digital reading and how you can download the filmfriend and Onleihe app to your smartphone, tablet or smart TV during the consultation. The consultation hour on digital media always takes place on the 1st Thursday from 4 to 5 pm in the Ribnitz library.
