Anne-Dore Baumgarten (organ) & Jonas Seeberg (cello) play works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Georg Philip Telemann and others.
Concert for organ and cello with Anne-Dore Baumgarten (organ) and Jonas Seeberg (cello). Church music director Anne-Dore Baumgarten is well known in Ahrenshoop, not least as the director of the Fischländer Kantorei.
Jonas Seeberg, born in Marburg, has been solo cellist with various European orchestras, since 2001 with the Philharmonie Zuidnederland (Maastricht/Eindhoven) and performs throughout Europe. He also performs as a soloist and chamber musician and has been involved in CD and radio recordings for Sony, NEOS, WDR, Deutschlandfunk, etc. The works of J.S. Bach are an essential part of his wide-ranging repertoire and the starting point of his musical and cellistic signature; they are also a daily source of inspiration. He plays a cello by Matteo Goffriller (Venice, 1700).
Anne-Dore Baumgarten, born in Ueckermünde in 1941, studied church music in Halle/Saale, graduating with an A-level. She worked as a church musician at Magdeburg Cathedral, in Görlitz and in the castle church in Lutherstadt Wittenberg, as well as teaching music at the Evangelical Preacher's Seminary, and has lived in Wustrow on the Fischland since 2003. She conducts the "Fischländer Kantorei" choir and regularly plays the organs in the Darss churches. In 2013, she inaugurated the Wegscheider organ in the Ahrenshooper Schifferkirche and has been the artistic director of the "Ahrenshooper Orgeltage" ever since.
