Concert summer Röbel/Müritz

The Cosmos Guitar Duo's new program exclusively features works by Italian composers. Whether the country and origin of the authors really create a commonality in the music is for the appreciative audience to judge for themselves. Stylistically, the pieces are convincing due to their diversity; the two guitarists take the audience through all eras from the Renaissance to the 20th century. In addition to the well-known Italian masters Fernando Carulli, Mauro Giuliani and Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco, true rarities of guitar literature will also be presented. The concert will feature the only (dodecaphonic!) composition for solo guitar by film composer Ennio Morricone, the last piece written by Giulio Viozzi and the only guitar piece by Ottorino Respighi that was only reconstructed from the manuscript after his death.

Dino Dornis studied guitar in Hanover. He plays in various classical and jazz formations. He teaches at the Ostprignitz-Ruppin district music school.

Bence Hartl comes from Hungary. He studied guitar in Szeged and is active as a guitarist and composer in the field of contemporary music.
