From Baroque to Bartók and beyond
Two festival favorites together at the Open Air! The unconventional sextet (double bass and drums play important roles alongside violins, viola and cello) and the extraordinary flautist love a bold, relaxed approach to classical music and beyond, developing new arrangements and improvising. Together, the musicians tackle baroque pieces with roots in the world of folk music, as well as works by grand masters as diverse as BARTÓK , STRAWINSKI , PIAZZOLLA and PARKER at these wonderful open-air concerts.
