Concert with Duo Schmuck: From Mendelssohn to Gershwin

Sayaka Schmuck (clarinet) and Nikita Volov (piano) present the finest chamber music at the highest level. The program includes well-known classical melodies from Mendelssohn to tango and Gershwin.

Thanks to their virtuoso mastery of their instruments, combined with a deep love of chamber music, the two young musicians never fail to enchant their audiences. This duo combines a sparkling joy of playing, magical dialog and homogeneous interplay.

Sayaka Schmuck is very active as a chamber musician and plays around 80 concerts a year with her various ensembles. She has played in renowned orchestras such as the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, Gewandhaus Orchestra Leipzig, Munich Philharmonic Orchestra, Bavarian State Opera Munich and many more.

Nikita Volov performs both as a soloist and chamber musician on concert stages around the world and has won prizes at various competitions.
