Intercultural game development during the fall vacations at the Spielkartenfabrik
Card games can be found in every family's game drawer across cultures and are therefore a good means for intercultural encounters. The vacation workshop offers children and young people the opportunity to get to know card games from different cultures. We play games such as Rummy, Skat and Fish, but also Yaniv, Pisti and Trix, which have their origins in the Middle East. At the same time, we will show how playing cards are produced in the museum workshop using lead typesetting and linocuts, thus providing the space to develop and implement your own game ideas.
21-25.10.2024, Mon-Fri: 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
