On November 19, the Stadt-ohne-Watt-Preis will be awarded for the fourth time. The event begins at 6:30 pm in the Grevesmühlen town hall.
Environmental and climate protection initiatives, technical projects and environmental education initiatives are all eligible to apply. The prize is endowed with €500 and has been awarded by the "Stadt ohne WATT" association for several years. This year's patron of the prize is Reinhard Meyer, Minister of Economic Affairs of the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
The association has also been able to secure NDR presenter and meteorologist Stefan Kreibohm for a lecture at the event. He will give an entertaining account of his work to all interested parties on this evening. He will also address the exciting question: Is this still weather or already climate, what is normal, what is special and what we need to be prepared for in the future. Anyone who has attended his lecture knows that Stefan Kreibohm knows his subject, knows our region inside out and can inspire.
Admission is free. The "Stadt ohne WATT" association is covering the costs of the evening.
