"Zirkus fantastique" - dance gala 2025
The story of "Zirkus fantastique" tells of the girl Mascha and her journey from childhood to adulthood. She is tossed back and forth between longings and fantasies, dreams and reality, her individuality and everyday boundaries. For the first time, Mascha encounters melancholy, the clownish hustle and bustle of humanity, boundless freedom and simultaneous senselessness.
In her search for balance and harmony, she is repeatedly caught up in impressions, feelings and sensations. Will she find her way on the big stage of life?
The Dance Gala 2025 of the "Carl Orff" Northwest Mecklenburg District Music School presents a profound and poignant production in a visually stunning formal language. Around 70 students from the dance classes perform spectacular choreographies to an extraordinary and emotional selection of music.
The internationally renowned dancer and dance teacher Kelly Marie Sullivan is responsible for directing, rehearsing and directing the production.
