Thomas Mann takes us into the fascinating dual world of the great storyteller and his charming alter ego Felix Krull.
While Krull seduces society as a cunning impostor, Thomas Mann struggles with the contradictions of his own life - fame and self-doubt, bourgeois façade and suppressed passions. Using only original quotes and a pinch of humor, the film reveals the masterful self-presentation of both characters.
