A fairytale dance revue by the Deutsche Tanzkompanie / With Axel Rothe as the storyteller / Choreography: Kirsten Hocke
"Once upon a time..." - This is how many fairy tales begin. The fairytale stories can all be found in a large, precious book, over which Old Henry faithfully watches. He has to make sure that the sometimes very lively fairy tale characters do not suddenly find themselves in other people's stories. This has worked well for centuries.
Recently, however, old Heinrich has adopted a foundling. The little wolf Wildfang wants to play all the time and has nothing but mischief on his mind. It doesn't take long for him to mix up the first stories and cause the most wonderful confusion. Old Heinrich has his hands full trying to calm the fairy tale characters and bring order to the colorful, jumbled fairy tale world.
In Kirsten Hocke's imaginative choreography and direction, the familiar world of fairy tales is made to dance with a great deal of humor.
Young and old alike will enjoy recognizing fairy tales such as "The Frog Prince", "Little Red Riding Hood", "Snow White", "The Devil with the Golden Hair", "Rapunzel", "Rumpelstiltskin" and "Mother Hulda".
