When St. Nicholas drives up in a horse-drawn carriage, children sing in the church and there are all sorts of tasty and beautiful treats, it's Christmas market time in Gadebusch
Traditionally, St. Nicholas comes through the town in a horse-drawn carriage, arriving at the market in front of the town hall at 14:00.
In addition to a sumptuous coffee and cake table, countless delicacies for body and soul are offered in the old town around the town hall and the town church, such as mulled wine, children's punch, stollen, roasted almonds, Mutzen, cookies, waffles, bratwurst, game goulash, Schmalzstullen and much more... There will also be vegetarian and vegan specialties.
All kinds of regional products are available at the lovingly decorated arts and crafts stalls in the town church: Sewn, pottery, brews, various souvenirs to give as gifts or keep for yourself.
In addition, a creative and handicraft area (indoors) for children will enrich the Gadebusch Christmas market.
