Jazz & Chanson

"Swinging Christmas" is the name of the game in Ludwigslust's Stiftskirche when Andreas Pasternack gives his audience a pre-Christmas treat with his own arrangements of popular American Christmas classics.

In addition to jazzy Christmas songs from "White Christmas" to the cheerfully swinging Christmas hit "Jingle Bells", the audience can expect a colorful mixture of Christmas and German melodies full of sound and groove.
Equally adept on saxophone and clarinet, Pasternack is one of the best-known and most popular artists in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. He leads through the program with great charm and surprises with new ideas for well-known repertoire. With anecdotes and stories between the songs, he always makes his audience smile.
Anyone who is not yet familiar with Andreas Pasternack can find out more about the artist on the weekly "Jazztime" show, which he presents together with Joachim Böskens on Tuesdays on NDR 1. Anyone who would like to experience the Rostock saxophonist and singer live will have a good opportunity to do so on December 21 at 7 pm in the Stiftskirche Ludwigslust.
Look forward to a musical sleigh ride through "Winter Wonderland" with Andreas Pasternack.
Tickets are available from the Ludwigslust town information office and by calling 0176 25718825.
