Jazz at Heart - 20th anniversary

For more than 20 years, the former Rostock medical student has been united by her talent and passion for music as a singer and the former director of the Clinic for Cardiac Surgery at Rostock University Medical Center as a trained jazz pianist and church organist. In September 2004, they surprised the audience with a professional jazz album on the occasion of a concert at the Leipzig Trade Fair at the invitation of the European Association of Cardiac Surgeons (EACTS). The album produced at the Rostock HMT and concerts raised funds for Ärzte-ohne-Grenzen e.V. (Doctors Without Borders).
The music and videos of JAZZ AT HEART, Christina Jaschkowiak & Gustav Steinhoff are available via the well-known streaming and download providers and YouTube. Concert tickets, music albums and DVDs are available for purchase as an anniversary promotion at the Rostock Press Center, Richard-Wagner-Straße 1, 18055 Rostock. The anniversary concert with Johannes Pistor, Thomas Braun, Walter Martinez, Jürgen Plato, Sebastian Sarfert and Jörg Friede will take place on 30.11.2024 at 7 pm in the Kunsthalle Rostock.
