International Chopin Competition winner Rafał Blechacz in concert

In 2005, the then nineteen-year-old pianist Rafał Blechacz became the first Pole since Krystian Zimerman to win the International Chopin Competition in Warsaw. Today, the serious artist with a doctorate in philosophy is one of the most sought-after musicians in the world. He dedicates his concert to two of the greatest personalities of Polish music: Frédéric Chopin and Karol Szymanowski.

Ludwig van Beethoven: Sonata for Piano No. 14 in C sharp minor op. 27, No. 2 'Moonlight Sonata'
Franz Schubert: Four Impromptus D 899 op. 90
Karol Szymanowski: Variations in B flat minor op. 3
Frédéric Chopin: Sonata for Piano No. 3 in B minor op. 58
