Get to know Ludwigsburg Palace inside and out.
From October 20 to November 1, the Förderverein is offering a guided tour of the castle every day at 11.00 a.m. as part of the "Schlösserherbst in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern". Get to know the castle of the Pomeranian dukes, which was also an original setting for North German Romanticism. The painter Friedrich August von Klinkowström, a companion of Caspar David Friedrich, was born here in 1778. Since 2020, the building has been owned by the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, which is planning and carrying out a thorough renovation. The Friends' Association is now the tenant and interim operator.
The guided tour begins in the castle courtyard in front of the entrance to the granary building with the "Exhibition" sign and lasts approx. 70 minutes. Admission is free - the Förderverein would appreciate a donation.
