The castle association presents the progress of the renovation and plans for the future.
One of the few manor houses that, like Sanssouci Palace, can be counted among the ranks of the Frederician Rococo period. The baroque building with its English interior dates back to the 17th century. Count Otto Martin von Schwerin, famous for the legendary Battle of Hohen Friedberg in 1745, acquired the estate on July 30, 1761. The current form of the stucco façade can be dated to the third construction phase from 1890-1902. The elaborately designed dormers with wooden ornamentation and the design of the gables with coats of arms date from this construction phase.
