Canoe day trip "Die Alte-Fahrt"

Immerse yourself in the natural landscape of the Müritz National Park by canoe or kayak.
After a tour briefing and canoe instruction, you can set sail.

The Mürtiz National Park impresses with its unique flora and fauna, much of which is still untouched. The easiest and most exciting way to explore the Müritz National Park is by canoe or kayak. Before we set off, we look for the right boat. You will also receive a water hiking map and an introduction to paddling techniques and the rules of conduct in the Müritz National Park.

From Leppinsee you paddle north on your day trip by canoe or kayak. On your canoe tour into the Müritz National Park, you will cross the Leppinsee and immerse yourself in the primeval forest of the Müritz National Park. Please do not leave the route marked with green buoys. From here you are on the former shipping route to Müritz, "DerAlte Fahrt". This area is closed to motorboats and can only be used by paddlers and anglers. After two long original canal passages connecting the Woterfitz and Carpsee lakes, you reach the Bolter Canal. At the end of the canal, you can take a break with a snack at the Müritz fishermen or at the Bolter Mühle mill. Here you also have to transfer your canoe or kayak, approx. 150 m. A canoe trolley can be hired. The canal ends directly in the Müritz. If you paddle right onto the lake, you will find many small bays that invite you to swim and linger. There are two restaurants on the banks of the Müritz at the campsite. After a longer break, you can make your way back to the canoe rental.
