Cabaret Kaktusblüte "Bart ab" Satirical turn of the year
"For over 40 years, the Dresden cabaret "Die Kaktusblüte" (The Cactus Blossom) has repeatedly devoted itself to topics in which big politics and everyday nonsense meet. Friedemann Heinrich, Uwe Hänchen and pianist Janka Scheudeck combine humorous satirical cabaret with witty and sophisticated entertainment.
This is why the ensemble is once again presenting the special program "Bart ab - Satirisches zum Jahreswechsel" in December.
Take a look back with us at the past year, in which, as always, wishes and reality went their separate ways.
Get to the bottom of things with us and look behind the facade of the Christmas business, for example when Santa Claus has to appear at the tax office.
It gets exciting when the Christmas story is presented in today's news and when the satirical review of the year revives some memories.
Experience two bodyguards who can't decide whether they have to protect the politicians from the people or the people from the politicians.
There are musical surprises in the form of well-known songs with completely new lyrics, regardless of whether "Oh, it smells good" tells of a visit to the Christmas market, including a physical altercation, or whether the anthem of the Schönkörperpartei Deutschlands (SKPD) is played under the motto "Ich trage eine Nase".
Of course, the traditional regulars' table with its dry comments on the state of the nation is also a must.
With these and many other witty and satirical ideas, we will shine a light on Santa Claus and when the beard is off, we will find out who is really Santa Claus here."
