Book scavenger hunt in various districts in Rostock
How does the whole thing work? We hide or place books scattered all over the city. Books that have previously been marked as Bookcrossing copies with stickers and registered at bookcrossing.com are "released" throughout the city - on benches, in parks or simply in the most unlikely places in public spaces. Anyone who finds a Bookcrossing copy can mark it as found at bookcrossing.com, but can also simply release it again. Everyone can go on the hunt and find reading material!
Bookcrossing aims to bring people and books together and connect them in a wild scavenger hunt (or leisurely stroll) in our beautiful city. We accompany the campaign with photo clues on Facebook and Instagram.
