Frank Brunet is French and was born in Berlin. He played his first role at the age of 15 at the Theater des Westens in Berlin and has since had numerous engagements at home and abroad.
Important roles were: Jean-Michel in "La Cage aux Folles" alongside Helmut Baumann, Larry in "A Chorus Line" in England, Maurice in "Gefallene Engel" in Munich, Valére in Molière's "Der Geizige", the play announcer in the Berlin production of "Jedermann" and the German premiere of "Sunset Boulevard". German premiere of "Sunset Boulevard" directed by Trevor Nunn. In Berlin, he played Harry in "Mamma Mia", Cicero in "Wie einst im Mai" at the Schlossparktheater and in "Irma La Douce" at the Tribüne. Frank was a soloist in the musical company of the Theater für Niedersachsen, where he played numerous leading roles, including the German premieres of "Side Show" and "Children of Eden".
Since "Das Spinnennetz" (directed by Bernard Wicki), he has frequently acted in films and television, where he has appeared in over 30 roles to date. He became known to an international, young audience through the English sitcom "EXTRA!".
From 2020, Frank Brunet will play the role of Harry Potter as an alternative cast member in "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" at the Mehr! Theater in Hamburg.
