Painting and Drawing at the Protestant Academy of the North Church November 27, 2024 - May 2025

Christian Kabuß' non-figurative painting translates the physicality of painting, the impulse of artistic gesture and the expressive movement of the painting hands into vivid imagery. It invites the viewer's gaze to experience its own creative movement.
The challenging theme of the exhibition - Kabuß' independent approach to an artist's anatomy and the question of the soulfulness of painting - allows artistic solutions to challenging questions to become visible.
In colorful panel paintings on wood, dynamic large-format drawings and sensitive small formats, art becomes an experience.
