Every 1st Saturday from January to March, the Hans Fallada Library shows cinematic treats for the whole family. The Mucklas kick things off with their adventurous journey to a new home:
Just as fish need water to live, mucklas need chaos and confusion. As humans have created more and more order over the centuries, the Mucklas are now almost completely extinct. Only a small tribe has lived for generations in Mr. Hansson's nostalgic and chaotic general store. However, the harmonious disorder of the Mucklas is shaken to its foundations when the store gets a new owner. The new tenant is a 100% fanatic for order and also an exterminator who declares war on his little lodgers. To find a new home for their tribe, the little Mucklas Svunja, Tjorben and Smartö embark on an adventurous journey. In the process, they not only grow beyond themselves, but also learn what cohesion, friendship and trust mean.
