Beach walk organized by VEREIN JORDSAND zum Schutz der Seevögel und der Natur e. V.
Topics include the Baltic Sea (formation, salt, missing mudflats), creatures in the Baltic Sea (mussels, jellyfish, birds, herring and marine mammals) and finally the dune (formation, flood protection, characteristics, habitat and endangerment).
The event is free to attend with your UsedomCard (show it when required). A Registration is requiredlimited number of participants! In this case we will contact you in good time.

Parking spaces near the beach
Sufficient bicycle stands are available on site. If you arrive by car, you can park it in the Strandstraße/Dünenstraße parking lot for a fee. Please enter Dünenstraße 2 into the navigation system. The parking lot entrance is on the left side of the street. It is approx. 300 m to the main beach entrance.
The Festwiese and VOSTRA parking lots in front of the Trassenmoor train stop are also available as alternative parking spaces (for a fee). It is approx. 1 km to the main beach entrance.
Note on toilets near the beach
There are several public toilets on site (Strandstraße/on the beach promenade - beach access 9G), which can be used free of charge. The toilet building located directly on Strandstraße is equipped with a disabled toilet. A Euro key is required for this.
