A cozy end to the year: Medieval market events with fire shows, juggling, medieval music, craft demonstrations and suitable stalls with food and drink.
In keeping with the motto "Pirates conquer Göhren", the old year is bid farewell at the open-air beach chair New Year's Eve spectacle in the Baltic resort of Göhren. Visitors embark on a journey back in time: The pirate troop fires from loud cannons, fences and celebrates vigorously with live music, juggling and fire games. There are also craftsmen, merchants, minstrels, fire-eaters, fakirs and artists. Numerous stalls also sell what pirates and traders have brought over the Baltic Sea. Meanwhile, you can watch the hustle and bustle on the Kurplatz while drinking mulled wine, listening to stories and watching the fire shows. On New Year's Eve, there is a big New Year's Eve party, crowned by a firework display over the pier at midnight.
