Inspired by works by Hiroyuki Masuyama and Caspar David Friedrich, the participants create their own atmospheric painting
Dates: Sept. 21, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and Sept. 21, 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Registration is required. Participation is free.
Under the guidance of artist Iris Vitzthum, participants will paint fog, sun or clouds into their favorite landscape. Creative design variations with mixed-media elements will be taught and can be tried out.
An LED light box by Hiroyuki Masuyama in the foyer provides initial inspiration. It shows the motif "after C. D. Friedrich, Neubrandenburg in the morning mist, 1816/17 No. 03"; the original by Friedrich can be seen in the Pomeranian State Museum in Greifswald. The artist introduces the subject.
The atmospheric paintings are suitable for families with children aged 4 and over. Grandparents with grandchildren are also very welcome.
