Born in 1947 in Schwerin /Mecklenburg, I spent my childhood in Wickendorf.
2009, at the end of my professional activity as a diploma political scientist I began with a sound drawing and painting training and activity in the context of study visits to the International Academy Marmaris (IAM) Turkey, Lithuania, Greece and Portugal and various places in Germany. In Berlin I deepened this training in drawing and painting through continuous work with the painter and university lecturer André Matthis Bednarczik, among others.
Content focuses are nature studies and landscapes, still life, animal and plant studies and especially portrait painting. The images are created with means of oil painting, tempera painting with different, partly self-developed binders, in mixed techniques on paper, cardboard, wood and textile painting grounds.My recent works are made in the Grattage - technique, currently try out newer transfer techniques on which I continue to work painterly.
I present the pictures in Schwerin and Berlin in numerous exhibitions in public and private spaces, at art markets and fairs and in their own studios.
