"A great desire moves your heart, then go to Pomerania and go at Christmas time silently and secretly to the beach." Klaus Granzow At this year's pre-Christmas arts and crafts market, however, there is no need to go to the beach in the winter cold, because every year on the 2nd weekend of Advent, visitors experience a small, fine Advent market in the Vineta Museum Barth, where the Friends of the Museum and the artisans provide for all pre-Christmas needs for young and old.

All art lovers can flock to the museum to admire the exhibits of wood and felt work, paintings, regional items, patchwork, fashion, jewelry and accessories as well as ceramics and metalwork. For those with a sweet tooth, homemade cakes, mulled wine, apple punch and bockwurst await in the Friends' Café.
