Artist talk: Ines Baumgart - Woll-Weiß-Nicht!?

On Sunday, July 28, 2024 at 3 pm, the visual artist Ines Baumgart will give a guided tour of her exhibition "Woll-Weiß-Nicht!" at the Städtische Galerie Wollhalle as part of an artist talk.
In her exhibition, Ines Baumgart presents impressive, sometimes large-volume ex-ponats of various genres and a wide variety of materials such as wood, (silk) paper, animal wool, cotton, wire and ropes. She primarily uses natural phenomena, such as nest structures or formations of micro-organisms such as diatoms (also known as silica), as models for her motifs. In addition to numerous large and small-format objects, Ines Baumgart also presents a selection of acrylic paintings and drawings in ink, seaweed and bog soil.
