Scenic reading with punch preparation
"So many people thought and hoped that this East-West issue would have been over long ago," says author and dramaturge Peggy Mädler. Annett Gröschner adds: "It's also totally annoying. So why are we still sitting in this puddle?" Together with sociologist and photographer Wenke Seemann, they take stock of their private and political lives: They drink, laugh and wrestle, discussing contradictions, crooked CVs, the complexity of imprints and ideals that have become alien. Over vodka, meatballs and punch, the three women dedicate themselves to remembering and reinventing themselves, as wittily and warmly as any great social discussion deserves.
Annett Gröschner, born in Magdeburg in 1964, is a writer and journalist. In 2021, she received the Grand Art Prize Berlin - Fontane Prize and the Klopstock Prize of the State of Saxony-Anhalt.
